Paragould Wedding
Paragould is a city in Greene County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 22,017 at the 2000 census, but the city has grown rapidly in recent years and is the fastest growing city in the Arkansas Delta. The city is the county seat of Greene CountyGR6. Its name combines the last names of J.W. Paramore and Jay Gould, the owners of the two railroads that originally crossed there; it is believed to be the only city in the world with this name.
It is home to Crowley's Ridge College, a junior college affiliated with the Churches of Christ. Other colleges that call Paragould home include Arkansas State University Paragould, Arkansas Northeastern College's Paragould campus, and the Greene County Industrial Training Center operated by Black River Technical College. Paragould is located at 36325N, 903011W (36.057075, -90.502938)GR1.
